WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION Verse 18: “...and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.” What is our assignment? Bring people back to God. This is soul winning. This is evangelism. This is the heartbeat of the gospel. We are not merely trying to fill church seats. We are trying to populate heaven. We are not merely inviting people to an event. We are introducing people to Jesus. WE HAVE A MESSAGE 2 Corinthians 5:20 “...we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.” We are not merely telling people: “Come to church.” We are telling them: “Come to Christ.” Church can introduce people to the environment. But Jesus saves. The assignment is reconciliation.
